01 Who is TMMA Black for? Agency

Established and emerging artists, independent labels, major-label imprints, artist managers, music brands and rights-holders who are serious about growing long-term. We work best with partners who already have a release pipeline, real songs they believe in, and a willingness to invest in proper rollouts — not one-off promo or quick-fix Spotify schemes. If you’re ready to move with intent across DSPs, paid media, press, radio and creator partnerships, we’re likely a fit.

02 How is TMMA Black different from TMMA? Agency

TMMA (Top Music Marketing Agency) serves a wide range of music clients across all stages of career. TMMA Black is the selective tier inside TMMA — a smaller team, fewer concurrent partners, longer campaigns, and only senior practitioners on every project. It’s built for projects that need the full weight of partner-led campaign architecture, not template playbooks.

03 Do you guarantee streams or chart positions? Trust

No — and you should be cautious of any agency that does. Streams that come from guaranteed-volume schemes typically harm an artist’s data integrity, trigger DSP filtering, and damage long-term algorithmic standing. What we guarantee is senior-level execution, transparent reporting, clean attribution and campaign architecture designed for sustainable growth. The numbers come from the right work compounding, not from inflated traffic.

04 What is the minimum engagement and budget? Engagement

The standard minimum is 90 days — one full quarter. That window gives a release the pre-release, release window and post-release tail it needs to compound properly. We can run a 30-day test campaign as a starter for partners who want a smaller first step, but it’s explicitly a starter — you should expect to learn about audience, creative and DSP behaviour, not significant rollout results inside that window. Real impact lives at 90+ days. Budget posture is shaped after the audit and depends on scope (single, EP, album, full era, brand build); we share indicative tiers during the application call.

05 What does the application process look like? Process

You submit the application form. A partner reads every submission personally. If there’s a potential fit, we respond within seven business days to schedule a private intro call. From there, if the project still feels right both ways, we move into a paid audit (catalog, audience, market, DSP behaviour) before any campaign commitment. Less than 6% of applicants reach a campaign engagement.

06 Do you work with unsigned / independent artists? Engagement

Yes. A meaningful portion of our roster is independent — artists and managers running their own labels. What matters more than label status is whether the music holds, whether you have a clear release plan, and whether the budget is realistic for the level of campaign you want. Some of our most rewarding partnerships have been with serious independents.

07 What genres do you work with? Engagement

All of them. We’re fully genre-agnostic. The DSP, paid media, creator and editorial playbooks differ significantly by genre and territory, so every campaign is shaped from scratch around the music — that’s exactly why senior practitioners run each engagement, instead of applying a one-size-fits-all template. If the work is serious, we can move it.

08 Where are you based, and which territories do you cover? Agency

TMMA Black is registered in Dubai (HN Ventures LLC FZ, Meydan Grandstand) with senior people across Singapore, Italy, Vancouver and Los Angeles. We have shipped campaigns in 37+ territories — including the US, UK, EU, MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa, India, South-East Asia, Latin America, ANZ and East Asia. International rollouts are a core specialty.

09 Will I work directly with a partner, or an account manager? Process

Directly with a partner, on every engagement. The person who reads your application is the person you brief, and the person who is accountable for the campaign. We deliberately keep the team small so that there are no junior account handlers in the chain — that’s the entire reason TMMA Black exists.

10 How do you handle confidentiality and NDAs? Trust

Most of our work is shared only inside the room. We sign NDAs as standard for label and major-artist projects, and we run a “Confidential Mode” option for engagements that require minimal external visibility (no published case study, locked-down communications, partner-only contact). Public case studies are shared on the work page only with explicit partner permission.

11 What reporting and transparency do partners receive? Trust

Weekly campaign reports during active phases, monthly strategic reviews, and quarterly board-level overviews for long-term partners. Reports include DSP performance with clean attribution, paid media breakdowns by platform and creative, editorial and press tracking, creator partnership delivery, and a forward calendar. We measure to listener economics — lifetime listener value, retention curves, save-to-stream ratios — not vanity metrics.

12 Can you handle full release rollouts, or just specific channels? Engagement

Both. Most partners come to us for full rollouts — from positioning and creative direction through DSP, paid media, press, radio and partnerships, all on one calendar with one accountable team. For partners with strong existing teams, we also engage on specific disciplines (Paid Media, Digital Streaming or Press & Media as standalone). The bulk of our work is full rollout because that’s where the multiplier effect happens.

13 Can I see real numbers from past campaigns? Trust

Yes — under NDA. After a partner call, we share relevant case decks with full performance data: monthly listener trajectories, SPI growth, save / skip / completion rates, paid media efficiency, editorial wins, and revenue impact. Public case studies on the Work page show only what partners have approved publicly. Trustpilot reviews and recorded video testimonials are the public-facing voices.
